The Chasm Between is an exhibition book designed for a hypothetical exhibition based on North and South Korean artists that produce works of art that are related to North Korea. The book is divided into five main sections: two essays about the relationship between North Korea and Art, interviews with two artists from the exhibition, images of the six artists, and short artists biographies. The entire book is bilingual: English and Korean, which is represented in different colours according to the different sections. The layout of the book is very rigid and bordered to represent the inflexibility and the extreme enclosedness of North Korea.
