As an extension of (TITLE) NON-PLACE, this installation explores the co-existance of a non-place and a place in a more personal perspective. A parking lot and an online platform are exhibited to represent the physical and digital non-places. As a person walks around the space, emotions of what I felt, specifically at the ArtCenter parking lot and on Instagram, are revealed. Revealing these very personal connections I have with these two spaces, communicates the importance of having emotions related to a place to examine deeper into the intersection of a non-place and place. The installation was developed with Processing and used MadMapper for projection mapping.
